When married couples are considering issues around child-bearing, fertility, conception, and the spacing of children, they should do so with prayer and in light of the Church's tradition and, when helpful, in consultation with their spiritual father.
To help explore the incredible gift of a couple's fertility, we have invited Julie Tomko, a certified Natural Family Planning (NFP) instructor in the Creighton Fertility Method, to speak about the myriad physical and spiritual benefits of Natural Family Planning.
NFP is an excellent way to not only prevent, achieve, and plan pregnancies, but can also be incredibly helpful in medically diagnosing fertility and other female reproductive health issues, while simultaneously bringing a married couple closer together through God's gift of sexuality. Ms. Tomko will speak after Saturday evening Vespers (approximately 6:00pm on February 18 in the Parish Hall.
