Paschal Items
Holy Week
Notes & Needs
- Paschal FeastA Paschal Feast of Quiche (recipe & instructions) and Champagne along with our Pascha Baskets will follow immediately after the Paschal Liturgy. All are asked to drop off your basket in the parish hall. Please remember to bring 1 quiche, cold, in a disposable pan prior to the beginning of the service at 11:30 PM Saturday night.
- Agape Vespers ReadersIf you speak another language and would like to help read the Gospel in as many languages as possible at Agape Vespers at 6 PM on Pascha, please let Roxann Ashworth know. Text of the reading in many languages available, or you may provide your own Bible.
- Ice Cream SocialAs is our custom, there will be an ice cream social after Agape Vespers. All who come are invited to bring their favorite flavor of ice cream and/or toppings and enjoy ice cream and fellowship after the beautiful Agape Vespers service.
- Bright Monday CookoutOn Bright Monday, after Liturgy, we will be having our annual Easter Egg Hunt with luncheon following. The Church School will supply hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, and ketchup and mustard. Please bring a side dish to share. We'll need, in addition to children to hunt the eggs, teens to hide the eggs. Contact Pat Disharoon if you'd be able to help! And, of course, grillers, egg counters, egg baggers, etc. — lots of ways for all of us to pitch in!
