Tradition and Grace
On March 22nd, the Orthodox Church of St. Matthew will be holding their annual Lenten retreat from 8:30am to 3pm. The Very Reverned Raymond Valencia will be speaking on "Entering the Kingdom: Tradition and Grace".
A continental breakfast will be provided and Panera boxed lunches can be ordered for $15 each. Profits from the lunch box sales will go towards the church's participation in Project Mexico, with Saint Innocent's Orphanage. A contingent from the Church of Saint Matthew will be going to Mexico in July to build a simple home for a family. Although the homes are very modest, they are a dramatic improvement for the families.
Schedule
- 8:30am - 9:15am: Coffee and pastries
- 9:30am - 12pm: Lecture
- 12pm - 1pm: Boxed lunch provided by Panera Bread
- 1pm - 3pm: Lecture continued
