Annual Brotherhood Retreat
to St. Tikhon's Monastery
The Brotherhood of St. Joseph will be going to St. Tikhon's Monastery March 23rd-25th, Annunciation weekend. His Grace, Bishop THOMAS, will be at the seminary ordaining several men to the priesthood and the Brotherhood has been invited to the luncheon following!
Please see below for details on the trip. Contact Jim Nee with any questions or comments.
Schedule
We encourage you to take Friday off from work and drive up to the hotel early, allowing you time to become acclimated to the slower pace at the monastery (and avoid Friday night traffic on the turn-pike!).
As in years past, you are welcome to follow the liturgical schedule of the monastery, but as this is a spiritual retreat you are encouraged *retreat* in a way fitting to your needs. Fr. Gregory does, however, have the expectation that the Eucharistic gatherings will be attended by all.
The Icon House tour will be unavailable this year. Bsp. THOMAS' will be our 'guest speaker' via his homily during the Liturgy.

Reservations
This year the dormitory basement is full of seminarians, so the men will be staying at the local Comfort Inn about 15 minutes drive from the seminary/monastery. The St. Tikhon's room rate is $63.71 per night. Rooms can accommodate one, two or more people, and seven rooms have been reserved in Holy Cross' name. Roommates will need to work out payment to the hotel together; plan on bringing $65 to cover both nights if you're sharing a room with one other person.
Those currently attending are:
- Trevor P / Jim N (roommates)
- Chris S
- James M
- Doug A / Nick A (roommates)
- Sdn. Ephraim
- Jonathan G / David K (roommates)

- Alex D / Greg C / Ho K / Brandon B (roommates)

Please get with one these people to work out roommates.
Donations
Each man is asked to make a donation to the seminary to cover the food expenses. $35 is customary. Please make the check payable to "Holy Cross" and put "mens' retreat" in the memo line. Checks need to be given to Jim Nee by Sunday, March 18th. We will present our donation to the seminary upon arrival on Friday the 23rd.
Travel
Thus far we have the following people able to drive:

- Chris S. is picking up Ho, Bruce and Friday evening. Car is full.
