Sisterhood Quilting Project
Orthodox Christian Women of Greater Baltimore will meet for the first time in a joint quilting with all the local Orthodox churches to benefit seriously ill patients in area hospitals. We will meet from 10-3pm on October 7th in the basement of Annunciation Cathedral in the Constantine Monios hall of the main church building. Parking will be across Maryland Ave in the Annunciation parking lot.
You are welcome to join in for whatever length of time possible. Please bring a lunch and scissors (cake and drinks will be provided) and please let Ina know if you are able to bring your sewing machine or pre-made quilt fronts and backs (at least 36" square or crib size).
The quilt tops can be just a solid piece of fabric or pieced into a design. Batting will be cut at the church. You will be able to work at whichever station you wish, from cutting, to tying knots, to machine sewing to ironing etc. Ina must RSVP the number of Holy Cross Participants by Oct 1st, so please e-mail if you're interested in participating.
The Holy Cross ladies that joined in with the Annunciation ladies last year found it a really fun experience and encourage as many as are able to join us October 7th.
