About Fr. John:
Fr. John Oliver is a priest at St Philip's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Souderton, PA, an instructor in Scripture at St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary, and the author of Touching Heaven: Discovering Orthodox Christianity on the Island of Valaam. Fr. John's writings have also appeared in Touchstone, Praxis, and other journals. He and his wife Lara have three daughters.
