These two Apostles are also commemorated as the Founders and Patrons of the Patriarchate of Antioch, to which we belong. It is fitting that as we celebrate together these Holy Apostles, we also remember in our prayers all the suffering people of Syria (home of the Patriarchate) and ask for protection and safety for our Christian brothers and sisters in the ancient homelands of our Holy Faith.
