We've just received word that Holy Cross Church will be able to host two nuns from the St Elizabeth Convent in Minsk, Belarus, for a Monday night (June 29) event that will introduce people to the important ministries of these monastics. After 6:30 vespers and a reception, Sisters Olga and Elena will share concerning the work that the convent is doing in taking care of the "inmates and patients of a boarding home for mentally challenged children", as well as patients of several other medical and pyschiatric institutions in Minsk.
All are invited and anyone who would like to bring finger-food for the reception that follows vespers is encouraged to do so.
