Vespers/Orthros Hymns
The teachings and doctrine of the Church are embedded in its music, and we are continually amazed at how much we learn about Orthodox theology through our ministries of song. The unfortunate side of this rich, complex worship is that it prevents the average lay person from having access to the texts that comprise a service… until now!
We were thrilled when the Archdiocese began online publication of variable texts in their entirety and immediately wanted to make these hymns available to our parishioners and visitors. Our hope is that you will use them to follow the service more closely and take them home to meditate on the teachings contained there. Read more about Vespers/Orthros hymns…
If you’d like to receive these texts each week, please contact Emily Lowe and request to be added to the distribution list.
